LASER THERAPY

Laser therapy involves applying low intensity laser light to relieve pain following damage to soft tissue. Laser Therapy allows our physios to provide individualised treatment plans that take into account a patient’s skin characteristics, size and tissue type being treated.

Laser therapy stimulates the cells in the body to help with tissue repair, reduce inflammation and reduce pain wherever it is applied. Patients usually experience a warm sensation and a reduction in pain immediately after treatment, allowing them to better perform their physiotherapy exercises and daily activities.

Laser Therapy can be used for a wide range of conditions and will help reduce pain and inflammation following injury. Treatment can last between 15-30 minutes and patients usually experience a warm sensation and a reduction in pain immediately after treatment.
